- Photos: K-pop Hurray Concert Reloaded [The Stars' Edition]

On June 15, KCCN held a K-pop Hurray Concert Reloaded (The Stars’ Edition) at Truck Central Abuja. For this edition, K-pop Festival winners from 2022, 2023, and 2024 were invited from across Nigeria, including Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna. The event featured exciting singing and dance performances from all teams, and at the end of the event, a popularity contest was held to determine which performance emerged as the “star of the stars.”. The dance category popularity prize was won by the 2024 K-pop Festival Dance winners, X-Mob, while the singing category popularity prize was won by the 2024 K-pop Festival Singing winner, Victory Mbagwu. Each category was awarded a cash prize of 100,000 naira. Also, meal tickets were provided to the audience to visit any of the food trucks in the arena and order their choice of food/drinks within the price limit of the tickets. Photos:

On June 8th, KCCNigeria held a busking event at Millenium Park, Abuja. The event featured singing and dancing K-pop in public. In attendance were some K-pop academy students, including the K-pop and Vocal Academy instructors, Jang Eun Jae and Seo Ye Na. Photos:

Day 1: International Day of the African Child Celebration at KCCN. The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria held a special event to mark the International day of the African Child on 13th & 14th June 2024. Students from public schools and schools for the visually impaired, hearing impaired, and autism spectrum disorder were invited on the first day 13th June. Visually impaired children touched traditional Korean hanbok and masks and listened to K-pop songs, while hearing-impaired children and children with autism spectrum disorder experienced a variety of Korean culture, such as coloring traditional masks and drawing. In particular, it was meaningful in that it provided opportunities to experience Korean culture in a variety of ways suitable to them. Photos:
