On 26th March, the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria recently celebrated the graduation of students from the 2nd term at the King Sejong Korean Language Institute. The ceremony was a vibrant celebration of hard work and dedication, featuring award presentations for the top-performing and most diligent students. The event also showcased a fantastic talent show, with several students demonstrating their diverse skills and creativity. A big congratulation to all our graduates! The Korean Cultural Centre held a three-day Art workshop in collaboration with educators from the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), South Korea from 25th - 27th November. The workshop was designed to educate students and art professionals about the life, works, and artistic techniques of Park Soo-Keun, one of Korea's most revered national painters. In attendance were 6 public secondary schools in Abuja as well as representatives from FEAAN - Female Artists Association of Nigeria, Society of Nigerian Artists and Thoughts Pyramid Art Gallery. This interactive program offered participants an immersive experience into the world of Korean art, utilizing unique teaching methods and materials. Photos:

On November 7th, the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Abuja, hosted the National Day of Korea Reception at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja. The event was attended by diplomats and representatives from cultural institutions across Nigeria. It showcased a vibrant array of performances, including taekwondo, K-pop, and cultural presentations by Shin Yu Jin and Daehan Saram. Prominent Korean brands in Nigeria, such as Samsung, LG, KIA, Hyundai, and Expression, also participated, offering exclusive displays of their products. The evening concluded with a delightful dining experience featuring an assortment of the finest Korean cuisines. Photos:
