2019 Taekwondo Class Term 1

Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria runs a Martial Arts class where both Kukkiwon and Olympic style Taekwondo are taught. We offer a range of classes (For both Black belts, Color belts, Beginners) that build basic skills and advance skills in taekwondo Martial Art.

 

Registration period: January 2 ~ 9, 2019

Class period: January 14 ~ April 18, 2019


○ For whom is this intended?

Ø Novices who have no prior knowledge of Taekwondo

Ø  Taekwondo students who prior knowledge from another Taekwondo Club

Ø  Ages: 3 – 17 years (Male, Female) from all nationalities.

 

  ○ Objectives:

Ø  To reach novices focus, discipline, etiquette, self- defense, positive social interaction, leadership and self-control, self confidence.

Ø   To improve novice learner’s Taekwondo proficiency and proper techniques execution.


 

○ Course Contents:

Ø  The course consists of dialogue, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, integrated practice, assessment, and assignment sections.

Ø  Various practices and assignments are included to improve speaking ability.


 

○ Training Contents:

Ø   Training programmes will consist of Kibon Donjak (Basic techniques), Poomsae (forms), Kyorugi (Sparring), Honshinsul (Art of Self –defense).

Ø   Participation in Demonstrations, tours, grading tests, championships is guaranteed etc.

Ø   Advanced training programmes for senior belts (Black, Red and Brown Belts)

All classes are tutored by qualified instructors and a maximum number of 35 students per class per training session.

This quarter classes are for 14 weeks. Application is open now and its base on first come first serve!


All prospective students for Taekwondo class should note that:  

Only 70% and above attendance will be allowed to participate in grading test.

Only 60% pass and above will guarantee issuance of certificate of completion.
