The 2024 Korean Language Class 2 & 3 at the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) will teach prospective students how to write and pronounce words in Korean language.

Registration period:  4th~ 11th July 2024 - Extended to July 31st

Sejong 2 Class

○ For whom is this intended?

Ø   People who have completed Sejong 1 class or have sufficient knowledge of common Korean expressions and basic conversations. (If you have a previous Sejong  certificate kindly come along with it, if you do not have you can submit your form only)

  ○ Objectives:

Ø  To improve learner's language proficiency and communication skills with using advanced grammar and expression e.g. using public transportation, ordering food, phone etiquette, talking about hobby, family, and travel, etc.

Ø  To widen the understanding of Korean culture through the language.

○ Course Contents:

Ø  The course consists of dialogue, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, integrated practice, assessment, and assignment sections.

Ø  Various practices and assignments are included to improve speaking ability.   

Sejong 3 Class (Intermediate 1)

○ For whom is this intended?

Ø  People who have completed Sejong 2 Class. [There will be an optional Level test for those who do not have Sejong 2 certificate at the point of registration to qualify them for the class, kindly note that the test is not compulsory]

  ○ Objectives:

Ø  To improve learner's language proficiency and communication skills with using advanced grammar and expression e.g. using public transportation, ordering food, phone etiquette, talking about hobby, family, and travel, etc.

Ø  To widen the understanding of Korean culture through the language.

○ Course Contents:

Ø  The course consists of dialogue, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, integrated practice, assessment, and assignment sections.

Ø  Various practices and assignments are included to improve speaking ability.   

 General Class Information

      Applications are now open and on a first come first served basis 

All prospective students for the Korean Language Class should note:

- Attendance is compulsory and certificate will not be awarded to students who have below satisfactory attendance.

Both classes are limited to 15 people each. All Classes are led by a King Sejong Institute certified & native Korean-speaking instructor. 

To register, please find and download the form below, fill/attach a passport, come along with the filled form and registration fees in cash to the Centre for submission. [No transfers will be allowed, all payment must be made in cash]
