2024 Taekwondo Class Registration Term 1
Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria runs a Martial Arts class where both Kukkiwon and Olympic style Taekwondo are taught. We offer a range of classes (For both Black belts, Color belts, Beginners) that build basic skills and advance skills in taekwondo Martial Art.
KCCN Taekwondo Class Registration for 2024 1st term opens on Monday, 8th January, 2024.
CATEGORIES
A. Children and Teenagers (5 - 16 years only, children below 5 years will not be accepted)
Note: Kindly come along with a proof of age (identity card) for each child e.g. Birth certificate, International passport.
Class period: 22nd Jan, 2023 – 29th March, 2024.
Registration Period: 8th ~ 12th Jan, 2024 (Kindly note that the registration will be closed as soon as we reach the maximum number regardless of the stated end date)
Class Time
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Class Days - Once a week; Each student is expected to select their most preferred day between Monday - Thursday
Fees: N8,000
Taekwondo Uniform Fee: N5,000
B. Taekwondo Adult Classes (Above 17 years)
Class period: 26th Jan 2024 - 29th March, 2024.
Registration Period: 8th ~ 12th Jan, 2024 (Limited Slots Available…)
Class Time – 10:00am -12:00noon
Class Days – Fridays
Fees: N12,000
Taekwondo Uniform Fee: N5,000

Please note that our work hours are as follows;
Mon – Thurs: 8 am – 4:30 pm (Break time: 12 pm – 1 pm; Visitors are not allowed during break time) Fridays: 8am – 1pm
○ For whom is this intended?
Ø Novices who have no prior knowledge of Taekwondo
Ø Taekwondo students who have prior knowledge of Taekwondo
Ø Ages: 5 – 16 years (Male, Female) from all nationalities for Children Category and 17 & Above for Adult Category.
○ Objectives:
Ø To teach focus, discipline, etiquette, self- defense, positive social interaction, leadership and self-control, self confidence.
Ø To improve novice learner’s Taekwondo proficiency and proper techniques execution.
○ Training Contents:
Ø Training programmes will consist of Kibon Donjak (Basic techniques), Poomsae (forms), Kyorugi (Sparring), Honshinsul (Art of Self –defense).
Ø Participation in Demonstrations, tours, grading tests, championships is guaranteed etc.
Ø Advanced training programmes for senior belts (Black, Red and Brown Belts)
※ All prospective students for Taekwondo class should note that:
Only 70% and above attendance will be allowed to participate in grading test.
Only 60% pass and above will guarantee issuance of certificate of completion.
[Participants who do not meet the attendance requirement will not be considered for subsequent Taekwondo classes]
