2017 KOREAN LANGUAGE CLASS


Sejong Hakdang (King Sejong Institute)* at Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria teaches the Korean language (Hangul) and culture. Sejonghakdang offers a range of classes that build basic skills in speaking, reading, listening, and writing Korean. All classes are of limited 25 people and led by native Korean-speaking instructors. Anyone who wishes to learn the language while engaging with the traditional, modern, and social culture of Korea are warmly welcome. All Classes are FREE for 12 weeks course. Applications now open, first come first served!

* Sejong Hakdang (King Sejong Institute): Sejong Hakdang (세종학당) is a brand name that the South Korean government launched in order to comprehensively provide Korean learners with an integrated study and information service around the world. Sejong was the fourth King of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea who created the Korean alphabet in 1446, and Hakdang means educational institutes in Korean language. http://www.sejonghakdang.org/

All prospective students for the Korean Language class should note that: Only 70% and above attendance & test results of more than 60% will guarantee certificate of completion.

·        Certified students will be awarded a certificate and additional prize.

·        Certified students will have better chances of working with the Korean Embassy or the Centre.

·        Certified students who excel in the language class will have better chances of being selected for Korean Government Scholarship Programme (KGSP), and/or having an access to information on studying in Korea.
