Students of ICON Transnational school Abuja, visited the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria on 13th Feb to experience and learn about the Korean culture. During their visit, the students learned about various aspects of Korean culture such as Hangeul (Korean characters), Korean traditional clothing(Hanbok), Korean traditional House (Hanok), Korean traditional food (Hansik), Traditional Korean Music instruments and traditional masks (Tal). They also learned basic conversational Korean words and Korean food through the Korean culture box and Hansik box, and decorated Korean traditional masks (Tal). Photos:

On February 4th, students of Harbour Academy, visited the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria to explore the Korean culture. During the tour, they learned about the history and philosophy of Hangeul (Korean Alphabet) and other Korean Cultural objects namely; Hanbok, Hanok, and Hansik. Additionally, they painted the Korean traditional mask also known as Tal as a fun activity during the excursion. Photos:

Students from Shining Star College, Kubwa – Abuja visited the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria on the 18th of July 2024 to explore the Korean culture. During the tour, they learned about the history and philosophy of Hangeul, the Korean Alphabet and other Korean Cultural objects namely – the Hanbok, Hanok, Hansik and Korean Traditional Music Instruments (Kkaenggiri and the Jing). For Activities, the students were particularly pleased with learning to read the Hangeul characters on the Jangseungs (Korean Totem Poles) which led them to the conclusion that the Korean alphabets were simple and logical to comprehend and afterwards, painted the traditional mask – Tal as a craft activity. On 9th July, students of Aces Nursey and Primary School Abuja visited KCCNigeria.
