Korean Films dazzle at 9th Korean Film Festival 2018
The 9th
Korean Film Festival took place at the Silverbird Cinemas Abuja from October 11
– 13, 2018. It was declared open by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to
Nigeria, His Excellency, Mr Lee In-Tae.
The following
blockbuster films were screened at the Festival:
On
October 11, 2018 - the Classified File: the story of a detective and a fortune
teller join forces to find a kidnapped child.
On
October 12, 2018 - Wonderful Nightmare: a story about a mistake in heaven that
makes an attorney, Yeon-woo die. Before she is able to return to her normal self,
she must live as an ordinary housewife for a month.
On
October 13, 2018 - Kundo: The last days of the Joseon Dynasty, where the wages
of greeed bring poverty and death. A pack of bandits - KUNDO - rise against the
tyrants, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.
Over
500 people watched the movies over the 3-day period. On each day, the first 100
people received free popcorn and a drink. 30 people won assorted items from the
raffle draw at the end of each day.
