KCCN hosted a 2-day creativity workshop for Young Persons with Disabilities on 10th & 11th Aug 2022. The workshop was initiated by Arojah Royal Theatre in collaboration with Potter’s Gallery Initiative, and the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (FCT Chapter). It featured different sessions of creative workshops for thirty (30) ‘Youth with Disabilities', with a focus on their artistic development and self-dependency in storytelling, playwriting, spoken words, content creation, etc. The speakers/panelists of the workshop were Dr. Olagoke Ifatimehin, Oluwaseun Odukoya, Bash Amuneni, Pual Liam, Sandra Bello, and Jerry Adesewo. Here's a photo recap from all the fun and good vibes that went down at the KCCN Memories of Joseon event on Wednesday, 3rd August 2022. Can you see the newly installed KCCN memory wall? All attendees had the opportunity to wear the Korean Hanbok, experience Korean tea and take beautiful photos that were immediately printed and hung on the memory wall! August 01 2022 was the kick-off date for the 2022 KCCN Summer Taekwondo Training classes which about 80 children including teens have been registered. The Opening Ceremony was held on Tuesday 02 August to formally declare the classes open. Representing the KCCN Director (Mr Kim Chang-Ki), the TKD Dept Manager, Mr Bae Sung-Jin, appreciated the parents and children for their unwavering interests in the martial art of taekwondo. He encouraged the coaches, parents, and children to keep the momentum. The classes will run from 01 August to 24 August 2022 at the KCCN Dojang Abuja. The activities would be rounded up by a colorful Closing Ceremony. Photos:

Photos from the 2022 KCCN K-Pop Music Festival held on 22nd July at Sheraton Hotel Abuja. The K-Pop music festival featured 18 jaw-dropping performances [8 Dance teams & 10 teams for the Ambassador's Cup Singing Contest] from Nigerian Kpop enthusiasts. After the highly competitive performances, CFly & Pbrain won the first prize in the Dance category carting away the star prize of N500,000 while Godson Ogurie won the first prize [N300,000] in the Ambassador's Cup singing contest. The audience also saw a thrilling dance performance from one of the judges; Jay Kim who is currently the dance instructor for the 2022 KCCN Kpop Academy. It was indeed a very satisfying music festival.
