2018 KING SEJONG INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP

The King Sejong Institute aims to provide scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students at Korea National University of Education to help Korean students develop their Korean language skills and understand Korean culture through studying in Korea.

The Sejong Foundation is seeking scholars for the following:

1. Purpose

 Students of King Sejong Institute will have the opportunity to continuously develop their Korean language ability without any tuition fee.

2. Selected Number : 0

3. Supported colleges and admissions courses

Major: Refer to the list of each school's [Attachment]

4. Details of scholarship offer

 Entrance fee and 8 semester tuition fees in full

For transfer students, full tuition from the transfer year

Scholars are required to pay scholarships every semester when they earn a minimum of 3.0 credits.

 Dormitory and airfare support is available for each school

5. Eligibility

Applicant must be able to meet all of the following conditions:

① Foreign nationality holder: If both you and your parents do not have Korean nationality

② Students who have completed Intermediate Level 1B (Sejong Korean 1-6 course) as a foreign student at Sejong International School or who are above TOPIK level 3

※ If you are not a student of King Sejong Institute at present,

※ Master and Ph.D. students can apply for Intermediate Level 2B (Sejong Korean 1-8 course) and TOPIK Level 4 or higher

③ Those who meet the eligibility requirements of each university

※ Please refer to each school's application guide in [Attachment].

④ Exempt from scholarship recipients (meaning that they receive support for living expenses) provided by the Korean government, university or other institutions.
