Olympics: Cynosure of 8th Korea Drawing Competition
Today May 9, 2017 the Korea Image Drawing took place at the Government Secondary
School (GSS) Garki. This year’s theme is PyeongChang 2018 Olympics, in honour
of the Olympics games scheduled to hold next year in Seoul, South Korea. One
hundred and fifty pupils selected from 30 FCT Junior Secondary schools gathered together
to demonstrate their prowess in the arts. The drawing exercise began at about
11am and ended by 3pm. The purpose of the competition is encourage culture
exchange between Nigeria and Korea and to create further awareness concerning
Korean culture in Nigeria.
