(GIST) Admissions 

Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in South Korea is a research-oriented university focusing on the essential fields of applied science and engineering. The institute was founded in 1993 and fully funded by the Korean Government to meet the demand for advanced research and to enhance the development of higher
education in science and technology.

  Eligibility

 0. A student who is 

- is excellent in academic performance 

- is enthusiastic about studying and research in science 

- is creative and challenging 

 1. Undergraduate and graduate degree 

 2. English Language Requirements (Mininum)  

-  80 (TOEFL), 750 TOEIC), 600 (TEPS), 6.5 (IELTS)

-  Tests must be taken within two years before the deadline

 Candidates will

 1. Need to apply online (https://service.gist.ac.kr/admission/graduate/foreigner)

 2. Need to send required documents by post 

   -  Deadline: Spring Admission - October 15th 2018 

 3. Get the admission offer and start: Spring Semester - March 1st 2019 

 4. Receive Financial support, incuding

   a. Free tuition fees

   b. On-Campus dormitory with moderate housing fees

   c. Monthly stipends

   d. One-way flight ticket (For first time only)
