Synopsis
Sorn, a palace musician, has to defend his talent and the Thai classical music against political interference at a time when the Thai government during the 1930's banned the Thai classical music as uncivilized. His life is also the story of Thailand's classical music from its golden age during the reign of King Rama V to near extinction after the end of the absolute monarchy when the government sacrificed its own cultural heritage in the name of "westernization".

Synopsis
The Film was selected as the Vietnamese entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards. It was adapted from the novel of same name by Nguyen Nhat Anh and was directed by Victor Vu. Entire of the film is a story about Thieu and his little brother - Tuong. Everything runs slowly, smoothly with many beautiful pictures in Phu Yen province's countryside. The background of the film is in 1989, viewers can have a overview about Viet Nam at that time: poor, destitute but truly full of love. Following 2 little boys's story, viewers will seem to be come back to their childhood with traditional games, works and even the change in thought of Thieu - teenage boy. Synopsis
Teresa (Rustica Carpio) has worked for the Bautista family since she was seventeen. She was the nanny of siblings Stella, Vince and Andre (Jackie Lou Blanco, Bobby Andrews and Ryan Agoncillo), and their mother. The three have all moved abroad in their adulthood, but all reunite back at home with the passing of their mother. With no one left to stay in the country, it is decided that all of their properties will be sold, including the house they grew up in. Synopsis
