Kim Koo 150th Anniversary x World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development Event

The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) and UNESCO Youth Orientation for Development (YOD) cordially invite members of the public to attend a special event celebrating the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, held annually on 21 May in recognition of UNESCO's Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity.
This year's event holds special significance, coinciding with the 150th Anniversary of Kim Koo, one of Korea's most celebrated statesmen and the visionary philosopher behind the idea that a nation's greatest strength lies not in military force, but in the depth and beauty of its culture.
The event will also serve as the Award Ceremony for the Kim Koo 150th Anniversary Cultural Contest, themed "Culture as Power: Shaping Nations through Creativity and Identity” a contest that invited Nigerian youth to explore the intersection of creativity, culture, and national identity.
Featuring; Cultural Performances, K-pop Dance Performance, Panel Discussion on Cultural Diversity and National Development and Award Ceremony for the Kim Koo Cultural Contest Winners.

Registration is open to all members of the public. Attendance is free; however, seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
