April Hansik Cooking Class - Sogogi Kongnamul-Bap

Picture a bowl of steamed rice layered with tender beef and crisp soybean sprouts, all brought together with the deep, complex flavour of Jang traditional Korean fermented sauces. The result is Sogogi Kongnamul-Bap: a wholesome, earthy dish that balances protein, vegetables, and rice in every bite.

In our upcoming cooking class, this dish takes centre stage as a gateway into Korean home cooking using ingredients that are easy to source right here in Nigeria. Simple method. Authentic flavour.


What you will learn

·         How rice functions as a neutral, versatile base in Hansik (Korean cuisine)

·         Flavour balance through Jang, the art of layering without heavy seasoning

·         Recreating authentic Korean home meals with locally available ingredients
