The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) is delighted to announce an open call inviting talented Nigerian K-Pop dance and singing groups to participate as performing teams in our upcoming K-Pop Concert, taking place on Saturday, 16th May 2026 in Abuja.

This is a unique cultural exchange opportunity for passionate K-Pop groups across Nigeria to take the stage, showcase their talent, and celebrate Korean culture before a live audience.

Sharing the Stage with a Korean Performance Team

Please note that this concert will also feature a contemporary Korean performance team. Selected Nigerian groups will be sharing the stage with the Korean team making this a truly cross-cultural celebration of K-Pop and Korean artistry.

WHO CAN APPLY?

We welcome applications from K-Pop dance groups and K-Pop singing groups. To be eligible, ALL of the following conditions must be met:

•      Your performance must be based on a K-Pop song — dance, singing, or a combination of both.

•      ALL members of your group must be available on Saturday, 16th May 2026 — the concert date.

•      All performers must be based in Abuja or must be able to travel to and be present in Abuja on the event date.

•      All performers must be able to attend pre-event meetings in Abuja as and when scheduled by the KCCN organising team before the concert.

Important: Please confirm the availability of every member of your group before registering. Submitting a registration implies full commitment to attending the concert on 16th May 2026 and all pre-event meetings scheduled prior to that date.

HOW TO REGISTER

Registration is open from 2nd April to 19th April 2026. Each group must submit the following information to complete their registration:

1. Name of Group / Team — The name your group performs under

2. Performance Song — The K-Pop song your team will perform at the concert

3. Full Names of All Team Members — First and last names of every individual performing in the group

Registrations with incomplete information may not be considered. Only complete and timely submissions received within the registration window will be reviewed.

WHAT PERFORMERS' RECEIVE

As a gesture of appreciation for the time and dedication of all selected groups, performers will receive:

•      A performance stipend

•      Special gifts for all performers

•      The experience of performing live on stage at a major cultural concert

•      The privilege of sharing the stage with a visiting Korean performance team
