Event Introduction: Celebrating its 61st anniversary this year, this is Suwon City's premier cultural tourism festival, rich in history. The festival allows visitors to see, hear, and enjoy various cultural content at Hwaseong Fortress, a site imbued with the filial piety and vision of a strong nation of King Jeongjo.

The festival offers a modern reinterpretation of the five days recorded in Suwon during King Jeongjo's "Eulmyo Wonhaeng" (Royal Procession to Hwaseong).

Visitors can experience not only these cultural contents but also the significance of Hwaseong Fortress's construction, urban reforms, and the historical atmosphere. This year, we have specially designed programs tailored for foreign visitors.
