A romantic and comical love story  that transcends social status about a powerful love between Lee Mong-ryong,

 a nobleman, and  Chunhyang, the daughter of a gisaeng.

*gisaeng : ginyeo, Korean female entertainer. A woman at a banquet or drinking party whose job it was to pour drinks for guests and entertain them with songs and dances.
