Shining Star College Kubwa Visits KCCNigeria
Students from Shining Star College, Kubwa – Abuja visited the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria on the 18th of July 2024 to explore the Korean culture.
During the tour, they learned about the history and philosophy of Hangeul, the Korean Alphabet and other Korean Cultural objects namely – the Hanbok, Hanok, Hansik and Korean Traditional Music Instruments (Kkaenggiri and the Jing).
For Activities, the students were particularly pleased with learning to read the Hangeul characters on the Jangseungs (Korean Totem Poles) which led them to the conclusion that the Korean alphabets were simple and logical to comprehend and afterwards, painted the traditional mask – Tal as a craft activity.
