The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN), in collaboration with the Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF), successfully hosted the 13th Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship from October 17 to 19, 2025, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The championship brought together passionate athletes and Taekwondo enthusiasts from across Nigeria, celebrating the enduring bond between Korea and Nigeria through the spirit of martial arts.

This year’s competition featured multiple categories, including:

• ●Gyeolugi (Sparring) – across 16 weight divisions

• ●Freestyle Poomsae

• ●Individual Poomsae

• ●Pair Poomsae

The event not only showcased athletic excellence but also highlighted cultural exchange, sportsmanship, and the growing popularity of Taekwondo in Nigeria.
