KOREA/NIGERIA QUIZ COMPETITION 2013
The 2013 Korea/Nigeria Quiz Competition is a competition that began in 2011 and has been improved and expanded over the years. The Competition has seen the emergence of two winner schools that were given an undergraduate scholarship each in Korean Universities for a five-year degree programme.
This year's edition began with preliminary competition which involved 30 schools (27 schools were present while 3 were absent) cut-across the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Each school was given the following books for the exercisea) K-literature (b) Facts on Korea (c) A guide on Korean Culture (d) Korean History. Each school produced 10 students (3 contestants, 7 Supporters). After the preliminaries the zonal comepetition followed. It involved the 16 schools from the preliminaries. The Zonal Competition was held in three zones: (a) Kwali (b) Municipal (c) Bwari. At the end of Zonal Competition 10 schools qualfied for the finals (with 54 marks as the benchmark). The 10 Finalists are as follows:

The Finals took place on December 5th, 2013 at FCT Education Resource Centre, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja. Each selected one of ten topics to speak for a period of nine minutes (three minutes each). At the end of the gruelling contest the following was the outcome:
